With the 5th annual Extra Life event wrapping up, Ctrl V is very excited and proud to announce that they’ve raised over $25,000 to support sick kids around the country through the Children’s Miracle Network of Hospitals. It has been a very difficult year for everyone as a result of COVID-19 and the event almost didn’t happen. However, the team at Ctrl V knew that contribution to the less fortunate and those needing help, is paramount to their initiatives, and one of their core values.
The event is in partnership with “Extra Life” – a gaming initiative that happens around North America where gamers will play whatever tickles their fancy (console games, board games, etc.) to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network of Hospitals. Participants fundraise year-round and pledge to game for 24 hours with one goal: to save and improve the lives of sick and injured kids. Funds raised stay local to help pediatric patients at 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across North America. Since 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $50 Million for member hospitals. The movement, formed by games bonded by passion, is committed to saving and improving the lives of local kids.
Each Ctrl V contributed their raisings to their local hospital within the network. Ctrl V HQ, specifically, supported the Toronto SickKids Hospital.
